Child Killed, Mother Injured in 2-Vehicle Accident near Interstate 10

ROSEVILLE, CA (November 21, 2022) – Wednesday morning, one victim was killed and another was hurt in a two-vehicle crash on Riverside Avenue.

The accident happened just before 9:00 a.m., near Interstate 10 on November 16th.

Per reports, the driver of a pickup-truck was traveling at a high rate of speed as they entered the on-ramp to I-10. There, the pickup-truck struck a white Volkswagen sedan, occupied by a woman and her child.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the child dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the child’s mother and the driver of the pickup-truck were taken to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for further treatment.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
