Erica Chambers Arrested after DUI Crash on Mosquito Road
PLACERVILLE, CA (November 18, 2022) – Friday night, police arrested Erica Chambers following a DUI crash along US Route 50 that left Calahan Baker injured.
The incident occurred on November 11th, at around 7:43 p.m., on Highway 50 and Mosquito Road in Placerville.
According to the police, a Mercedez-Benz, driven by Chambers, collided with a Toyota Prius, driven by Baker. Following the collision, Chambers immediately fled the scene before the authorities arrived. The Baker received minor injuries from the incident.
Eventually, authorities arrested and booked 35-year-old Chambers for DUI in El Dorado County Jail.
The next day, officers responded to a report of a possible human body located near the guardrail bushes in the area of the crash. Officials later identified the deceased person to be 34-year-old Mason Visman.
