Two Pronounced Dead after Three-Vehicle Crash near Mile Post 208

ELOY, AZ (November 18, 2022) – Tuesday morning, two unidentified victims were killed in a semi-truck accident on Interstate 10.

Dispatchers received reports in the area around 4:00 a.m., near mile post 208.

According to officers, the driver of a sedan was exiting the freeway and rear-ended a semi-truck. The impact of the collision sent the sedan into another commercial vehicle.

The driver and passenger inside the sedan were confirmed deceased at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identities.

Meanwhile, the roadway near milepost 208 was blocked for cleanup duties before it was later reopened around 11:00 a.m. At this time, the events leading up to the fatal collision are still under investigation.
