Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Pedestrian Crash near South Western Avenue in Koreatown

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 16, 2022) Early Monday morning, Bong Lee was hurt in a hit-and-run on West 3rd Street.

The incident occurred just before 5:55 a.m., on South Western Avenue in Koreatown. 

According to reports, the driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian in the area and immediately fled the scene. Responding medics arrived shortly after and transported the pedestrian to a hospital with significant injuries. 

At this time, the LAPD is looking for a white two-door BMW with suspected damage to the front bumper and hood. Officers have not released any further details regarding the West 3rd Street hit-and-run.

Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
