San Ysidro Man Dead in Single-Vehicle Accident on State Route 15 near City Heights

SAN DIEGO, CA (November 14, 2022) – Thursday afternoon, an unidentified man lost his life after a solo-car crash on State Route 15.

The accident took place on November 3rd, around 3:30 p.m., on southbound State Route 15.

According to reports, a 43-year-old man was driving a gray Ford pickup truck along the freeway when he lost control of the car and crashed into a metal guard rail. The impact of the crash ejected the man from his truck.

Emergency crews arrived at the site of the collision shortly after and pronounced the man dead at the scene. At this time, officials have not released the identity of the man pending notification of next of kin.
