Victim Pronounced Dead after Semi-Truck Collision near Rosemead Boulevard

ROSEMEAD, CA (November 8, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, one victim was killed and another was injured in a big-rig crash on 10 Freeway. 

The deadly accident occurred around 5:10 a.m., along the eastbound lanes of the freeway near Rosemead Boulevard.

Responding personnel also located a big-rig on its side and at least two other vehicles involved. 

According to reports, paramedics transported at least one person to a nearby hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. In addition, crews pronounced one victim dead due to the extent of their condition.

Whether the fatality occurred at the scene or at a hospital remains unclear. 

At this time, the circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation. In the end, authorities issued a SigAlert at 5:38 a.m., shutting down No, 1, 2, 3, and 4 lanes of the eastbound 10 Freeway.
