1 Killed in Motorcycle Crash on State Route 347 [Phoenix, AZ]
One Pronounced Dead after Fatal Motorcycle Collision near Riggs Road
PHOENIX, AZ (November 7, 2022) – Wednesday night, one person was killed in a motorcycle crash on State Route 347.
Police responded to the scene around 9:00 p.m., near Riggs Road on November 2nd.
Investigators say the driver of a vehicle was heading north on the highway when they attempted to turn left and collided with a southbound motorcyclist.
Due to the impact of the collision, medics pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
Traffic flow in the area was affected for several hours before it was later reopened on early Thursday morning.
Officers have not yet released the identities of those involved. Once available, more information will be provided.
