Two-Vehicle Crash on Tierra Del Sol Road near State Route 94 Left 2 People Dead
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 2, 2022) – Sunday morning, a two-car crash on Tierra Del Sol Road claimed the lives of two men dead.
The incident happened on October 16th, at around 7:45 a.m., near State Route 94.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2014 Chevrolet Spark was speeding on northbound Tierra Del Sol Road when it failed to stop at a stop sign and crashed into westbound 2020 Hyundai Ioniq. As a result, both vehicles ended up careening up a roadside earthen berm.
Emergency crews arrived to the site of the collision shortly after and declared two passengers of the Chevrolet dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported the driver of the Chevrolet to Sharp Memorial Hospital for medical care.
At this time, an investigation into the cause of the crash on Tierra Del Sol Road is underway.
