Motorcyclist Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision near Ontario Avenue

CORONA, CA (November 2, 2022) – Sunday night, a rider was pronounced dead after a motorcycle crash on Interstate 15.

The fatal incident took place on northbound I-15, just south of Ontario Avenue around 8:40 p.m.

A motorcycle rider reportedly tried to leave the express lanes and rear-ended a gray Acura sedan. Upon impact, the rider was ejected onto the right hand shoulder embankment.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, responding paramedics pronounced the rider dead on the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.

Additionally, the Acura driver did not sustain any injuries.

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened. At this time, Corona officials are still investigating the fatal crash on Interstate 15 and will give updates once available.
