Pedestrian Collision near Esmar Road Left 22-year-Old Ceres Man Dead
CERES, CA (November 2, 2022) – Friday night, a pedestrian accident on Service Road claimed the life of Giovani Gomez.
The fatality happened around 7 p.m. near Esmar Road in the city of Ceres in Stanislaus County.
According to the CHP, a westbound pickup hit the pedestrian in the roadway for reasons under investigation. Subsequently, the driver pulled over and contacted 911.
Responding medical personnel transported the pedestrian to Doctors Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Later, the Stanislaus County Coroner’s office identified the deceased victim as 22-year-old Giovani Gomez of Ceres.
Ceres Officials are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the Service Road pedestrian crash.
