Vehicle Accident near Riverview Drive Left One Fatality

JURUPA VALLEY, CA (November 2, 2022) – Sunday night, police responded to a motorcycle-vehicle crash on Limonite Avenue that claimed the life of one person.

The incident happened on October 30th at about 9:15 p.m. in the 5900 block, near Riverview Drive, involving a motorcycle and a vehicle.

According to authorities, responding officers arrived at the scene and found both the motorcyclist and his passenger with severe wounds.

Furthermore, the officers transported the two to a nearby hospital, but the passenger was pronounced dead upon arrival. Their identities have not yet been released.

Meanwhile, the occupants of the involved vehicle sustained no injuries. It was unknown if alcohol or drugs played a factor in the collision.

Both directions of the roadway were briefly closed down to allow for cleanup, but have since reopened.

No arrests have been made yet and the circumstances leading up to the fatal crash on Limonite Avenue have not yet been determined. Further investigations are still in progress.
