Driver Wanted after Fatal Hit-and-Run Collision near Chase Street
SAN JACINTO, CA (November 1, 2022) – Thursday evening, a man was fatally struck in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on Ramona Expressway.
The incident occurred around 10:40 p.m., near Chase Street.
According to reports, the driver of a vehicle struck the man near the intersection and fled the scene before authorities arrived.
Upon arrival, units located an unresponsive man lying in the roadway. Paramedics then transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
According to the investigators, a gray vehicle with an unknown make and model hit the victim walking within the Ramona Expressway crosswalk.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, further details will be provided about the pedestrian crash on Ramona Expressway.
