One Pronounced Dead after Chain Reaction Collision near Thomas Road
PHOENIX, AZ (October 27, 2022) – Monday night, one victim was killed and another was hurt in a multi-vehicle crash on 45th Avenue.
The incident happened just after 7:00 p.m., near Thomas Road on October 24th.
According to police, the driver of a silver passenger vehicle attempted to turn left from a private driveway onto westbound Thomas Road. Upon impact, the truck was sent into traffic causing a collision with an SUV and another vehicle.
Responding officials arrived and pronounced one unidentified woman dead at the scene. Additionally, another driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and showed signs of intoxication.
Meanwhile, the identity of the deceased person has not yet been released. The events leading up to the crash are still under investigation at this time.
