Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Crash near 3rd Street
CHICO, CA (October 26, 2022) – Late Saturday night, one victim was injured in a pedestrian crash on Ivy Street.
Authorities responded to the scene around 11:41 p.m., near West 3rd Street on October 22nd.
Investigators say the driver of a vehicle struck a male pedestrian as he was attempting to cross Ivy Street.
Police responded to the scene and found the man in the intersection with major injuries. Medics then transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital.
Following the collision, the Chico Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team initiated a road closure on Ivy Street for about two hours for investigations.
