BLUE LAKE, CA (October 24, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, one rider was pronounced dead after a motorcycle accident on Highway 299.
The fatal collision happened around 12:30 p.m., near Blue Lake Boulevard.
According to California Highway Patrol, a westbound motorcycle collided head-on with a logging truck that was traveling the opposite direction.
Medics arrived and pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. However, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.
