Auto-Pedestrian Crash on Interstate 805 Results in Fatality
NORMAL HEIGHTS, CA (October 24, 2022) – Early Thursday morning, an unidentified man died after a traffic collision near Adams Avenue.
The incident happened on October 6th, at around 3:10 a.m. on Interstate 805 near Adams Avenue.
According to reports, a 31-year-old man who stopped his car on the right shoulder of the road to change a tire was struck by a passing vehicle.
First responders arrived shortly after and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Authorities have currently withheld his name.
The driver, on the other hand, remained and cooperated with the officers. At this time, police have not stated whether speed, drugs, or alcohol were factors in the crash. However, an investigation is ongoing, as well as a toxicology test.
