39-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Crash near Stetson Avenue

HEMET, CA (October 21, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, Angel Rodela Jr. died in a head-on collision on Warren Road. 

The incident happened around 3:15 p.m., just north of Stetson Avenue.

According to reports, Rodela was a passenger in a Nissan when the driver lost control and veered to the side of the road.

The driver then over-corrected, causing the Nissan to drift into the opposing lane. As a result, the Nissan went into the path of a Toyota SUV, hitting the passenger side. 

The impact of the collision left three occupants of the sedan, as well as the SUV driver, injured.

Emergency crews arrived shortly after and transported the victims to a regional trauma center for treatment of significant injuries. Meanwhile, medics declared one man, 39-year-old Angel Rodela Jr. of San Jacinto, dead at the scene.
