Man Severely Injured in Hit-and-Run near Montecito Vista Drive
SAN JOSE, CA (October 19, 2022) – Thursday afternoon, a male pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run on Monterey Road.
The incident happened around 12:53 p.m., near the intersection of Monterey Road and Montecito Vista Drive.
For reasons under investigation, the driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian who was walking in the area.
Upon impact, the driver fled the scene and failed to render aid to the injured victim.
At this time, it is unclear whether or not the man needed to be hospitalized. Additionally, authorities have withheld the identity of the victim.
