2 Dead, 4 Hospitalized after Multi-Vehicle Collision on Howe Avenue
SACRAMENTO, CA (October 18, 2022) – Sunday, Carol Trinidad Duchnowski and Stephen John Duchnowski were killed in a crash on Hallmark Drive.
The multi-vehicle collision happened around 9:20 a.m., near Howe Avenue.
At this time, the events leading up remain unclear. However, reports indicate that paramedics pronounced two victims dead at the scene.
In addition, four other patients were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Authorities later identified the deceased victims as 74-year-old Stephen and his wife, 65-year-old Carol.
Police temporarily shutdown both directions of the roadway to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the Arden Arcade area multi-vehicle crash.
