Two Injured in Multi-Vehicle Accident on U.S. 60 [Mesa, AZ]
2 Hospitalized after Auto Collision near Val Vista
MESA, AZ (October 17, 2022) – Saturday afternoon, at least 2 victims were injured in a multi-vehicle accident on U.S 60.
The incident happened around 2:30 p.m., on the westbound lanes of the highway near the Val Vista exit on October 8th.
According to police, the crash involved at least three vehicles and a pedestrian. However, the events leading up still remain unclear.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported two injured victims to a nearby hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Meanwhile, the crash resulted in the closure of the westbound lanes before it was later reopened.
No further information was released by Mesa Officials and the events leading up to the crash are still under active investigation.
