33-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck by Semi-Truck near Montana Street in Echo Park
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 14, 2022) – Early Tuesday morning, Natalie Schaffer was killed while sleeping in an Echo Park.
Police responded to the scene around 12:45 a.m., near Montana Street on October 11th.
According to reports, the driver of a semi-truck was making a U-turn into a Von’s parking lot when he failed to notice a woman sleeping underneath cardboard. As a result, the big-rig ran her over.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and declared 33-year-old Schaffer dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the big rig remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. At this time, an active investigation to determine further details is still currently underway.
