Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near McKinley Avenue
FRESNO, CA (October 7, 2022) – Wednesday morning, David Preciado was killed in a pedestrian accident on Highway 41.
The fatal incident happened around 5:30 a.m., near McKinley Avenue.
Per reports, the driver of a vehicle hit a man attempting to cross Highway 41, sending the pedestrian through the windshield.
Upon impact, the driver continued down the highway for about a quarter mile before coming to rest. Medics arrived and transported the driver to a nearby hospital for further treatment of unspecified injuries.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, 54-year-old Preciado, of Fresno was declared dead at the scene.
Investigators said that approaching vehicles may have struck the victim multiple times after the initial collision.
