L. Hanski Injured, J. Maldonado Involved in Motorcycle Collision on State Route 45 [Glenn County, CA]
Rider Hospitalized after Motorcycle Crash near County Road 34
GLENN COUNTY, CA (October 7, 2022) – Friday night, L. Hanski was injured in a motorcycle collision on State Route 45.
The crash happened around 7:30 p.m., near County Road 34.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle attempted to pass another southbound vehicle. As a result, the driver struck a Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by 50-year-old L. Hanski, of Magalia.
The involved driver, identified as 20-year-old J. Maldonado of Chico, stopped on the freeway’s right shoulder.
Responding medical personnel airlifted Hanski to Enloe Medical Center in Chico for treatment of significant injuries.
In the end, the CHP closed State Route 45 for about 45 minutes to clear the scene.
No further details have been released to the public; however, Glenn County officials will provide more information once available.
