Man in 40s Pronounced Dead after Hit-and-Run Crash near 43rd Avenue

PHOENIX, AZ (October 6, 2022) – Early Monday morning, one man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Indian School Road.

The incident happened on October 3rd, near 43rd Avenue.

Per reports, officers arrived and found a man in his 40s lying on the highway with major injuries.

According to Phoenix Police, the man was pronounced dead at the scene due to the extent of his injuries.

In addition, a witness told police that the pedestrian was crossing the street when the collision occurred.

Meanwhile, the identity of the man has not been released by authorities at this time. The involved driver was later found and arrested by authorities.
