Man Injured in Pedestrian Accident on State Route 94 [Golden Hill, CA]
Male Pedestrian Struck by Ford Sedan near 25th Street
GOLDEN HILL, CA (October 6, 2022) – Wednesday morning, an unidentified man sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on State Route 94.
The crash occurred around 11:15 a.m., on the westbound lanes of the highway just east of 25th Street on September 21st.
According to reports, a male pedestrian was walking on the roadway when the driver of a Ford Sedan struck him.
First responders arrived and transported the male victim to a local hospital in critical condition. The name of the victim remains unknown at this time.
Meanwhile, the Ford driver, a 73-year-old Bonita woman remained uninjured and stayed at the scene.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.
Authorities do not currently believe that drugs or alcohol were factors in the accident on State Route 94. However, an active investigation remains ongoing.
