Bicycle-Auto Collision near Pittman Hill Road Left Fresno Professor Dead
SANGER, CA (October 6, 2022) – Sunday morning, Adela Santana-Mullooly died after a head-on crash on Watts Valley Road.
The fatal incident occurred around 10:20 a.m. east of Pittman Hill Road.
According to the officers, a vehicle, driven by 47-year-old Johnson Chang, veered into the oncoming traffic in the westbound lanes and collided head-on with a cyclist. As a result, the cyclist, 51-year-old Santana-Mullooly, died at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. No arrests were made at this time.
Adela Santana-Mullooly was beloved at Clovis Community College. The college offers psychological services for students and staff members.
