Single-Vehicle Accident along Danwood Way Claimed the Life of One Woman

TUCSON, AZ (October 5, 2022) Tuesday, one woman died and two others sustained injuries in a solo-car crash on Danwood Way.

The accident happened just before 10:00 p.m., on East Danwood Way on September 21st.

According to reports, the single-vehicle collision occurred when the driver lost control of their black 2018 Polaris RZR before crashing into a mailbox, landing on its side.

Responding officers located one woman and two men inside the vehicle. Tragically, the woman died due to the extent of her injuries. While medics took the two men to St. Joseph’s Hospital and Banner University Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.

Officials said both men are expected to survive. Moreover, they have withheld the name of all parties involved until their families are notified.

At this time, officials are working to determine the cause of the fatal crash and will release additional information once available.
