Officer Injured, Michael Williams Arrested after Police Pursuit on F Street [Marysville, CA]
Chico Man Crashes in Two Patrol Vehicles on 3rd Street in Marysville
MARYSVILLE, CA (October 5, 2022) – Saturday, Michael Williams was arrested after a police pursuit on F Street.
According to reports, Williams was driving a stolen Ford F-150 when officers attempted to perform a traffic stop. He then stopped momentarily before fleeing from the police.
Deputies said the suspect rammed into the driver’s side of a patrol vehicle and continued driving into a dead end near F and 3rd Street.
Williams then reversed his Ford F-150 and collided with another patrol vehicle multiple times. One involved deputy sustained unspecified injuries.
Eventually, officers arrested Michael Williams who now faces multiple felony charges, including assault with a deadly weapon.
No further details regarding the F Street crash have been released to the public; however, Marysville Officials are still conducting an active investigation.
