Man, Dog Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Poe Street [San Diego, CA]
56-Year-Old Man Struck by Vehicle near Nimitz Boulevard
SAN DIEGO, CA (October 5, 2022) – Thursday morning, a man and his dog sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on Poe Street.
The crash happened around 6:45 a.m., near Nimitz Boulevard.
According to reports, a 56-year-old man was chasing after his dog who ran into the streets. There, the female driver of a Jeep struck the man and the dog.
Responding paramedics transported the male pedestrian to a local hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, the dog was brought to the veterinarian’s office for treatment.
At this time, officials have not released the name and the current conditions of the injured man.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Jeep remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
