75-Year-Old Woman Seriously Wounded after Head-On Collision near Langtry Road

NAPA VALLEY, CA (October 4, 2022) – Tuesday morning, a woman sustained injuries following a crash on Spring Mountain Road.

The incident happened on September 27th at around 7:20 a.m. just west of Langtry Road involving a Toyota Yaris and a Toyota Tundra pickup truck.

According to Officer Jaret Paulson, the Yaris was driven by a 75-year-old woman and the Tundra was driven by a 33-year-old man with a 58-year-old passenger.

Furthermore, Paulson said that the Yaris was driving eastbound when it crossed the double yellow lines colliding head-on with the Tundra traveling westbound.

The crash resulted in the woman suffering major injuries and the Tundra driver suffered only minor injuries. Also, the passenger of the Tundra was unhurt.

Following the crash, the woman was rushed to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center and was reported to be in a critical condition.

Meanwhile, the events leading up to the crash have not yet been determined and further investigations are still underway.
