69-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Collision near Shore Road
HOLLISTER, CA (October 3, 2022) – Thursday afternoon, Richard Avidano was killed in a motorcycle crash on Frazier Lake Road.
Dispatchers responded to the scene around 4:12 p.m., near Shore Road on September 29th.
According to police, the driver of a vehicle struck 69-year-old Avidano as he was traveling southbound on Frazier Lake Road. Due to the impact of the collision, medics pronounced Avidano dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed at the scene and declined medical attention. Following preliminary investigations, no arrests were made. In addition, police do not believe that alcohol or drugs were potential factors.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, further details will be provided.
