27-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Summit Valley Road near Silverwood Street
HESPERIA, CA (October 3, 2022) – Early Wednesday morning, a motorcyclist was killed following a crash on Summit Valley Road.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on September 28th at about 5:30 a.m., on Summit Valley Road near Trout Street.
According to initial reports, an Elantra, driven by a 23-year-old female, attempted to make a U-turn and veered into the lane of the motorcyclist. The motorcyclist was unable to avoid the Elantra and collided with it. The impact of the collision caused the rider to be ejected from his motorcycle.
Emergency crews responded to the crash shortly after and transported the victim to Desert Valley Medical Center for treatment. At the hospital, medics pronounced the rider dead due to the extent of his injuries.
Meanwhile, the female driver was unharmed in the crash.
