Two Killed in Head-On Crash near Pleasant Oak Drive
PORTERVILLE, CA (October 3, 2022) – Thursday afternoon, two victims were killed in a head-on collision on Highway 190.
The accident occurred on the afternoon of September 2nd, near Pleasant Oak Drive.
For reasons under investigation, two vehicles collided head-on. In addition, one of the vehicles overturned before coming to rest on its roof.
Officials said both vehicles sustained heavy damage and several car parts were scattered across the road.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced two victims dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identities.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.
At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Once available, more details will be provided about the head-on collision on Highway 190.
