Motorcyclist Rear-Ended in Deadly Collision near Willow Pass Road

CONCORD, CA (September 30, 2022) – Late Tuesday night, one victim was killed in a motorcycle crash on Highway 242.

The incident happened around 11:12 p.m., just south of Willow Pass Road on September 27th.

According to police, the driver of a black Toyota Highlander and a black Harley Davidson were both traveling in the southbound lanes when the Toyota rear-ended the motorcyclist.

Upon impact, the motorcyclist was ejected from the vehicle onto the road. Medics arrived and transported the rider to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Toyota did not suffer any injuries.
