Two Dead after Single-Car Accident near Mile Marker 47

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 21, 2022) – Friday morning, a crash on Angeles Crest Highway claimed the lives of Anggoro Putro and Radja Putro.

The fatal incident happened around 9:00 a.m., at the Mile Marker 47 of Angeles Crest Highway.

According to the police, Anggoro and Radja were traveling in a red two-door vehicle along Angeles Crest Highway. For reasons under investigation, the driver suddenly lost control and veered off the road.

The car then went 20-40 feet down to an embankment and at least one of the occupants became trapped inside the vehicle. Emergency crews arrived and pronounced 48-year-old Anggoro Putro and 19-year-old Radja Putro dead at the scene.

Investigators closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened. At this time, an active investigation to determine further details is still underway.
