Two-Vehicle Accident on Southbound Interstate 15 Left Three Fatalities
WILLIAMS, CA (September 20, 2022) – A wrong-way crash on Interstate 15 resulted in the death of three unidentified persons.
The accident took place at 12:45 a.m. along the southbound Interstate 15 on August 22nd.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a female Nissan Altima driver was for unknown reasons driving north in the southbound lane of the freeway and crashed head-on with another Nissan Altima.
The impact of the crash caused fatal injuries to three out of the four occupants of the second vehicle. Their identities have currently been withheld, pending notification of their families.
Meanwhile, medics rushed the driver and passenger of the wrong-way Nissan to local hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
At this time, authorities are investigating the fatal crash and will release further information once available.
