Rollover Accident near Roble Blanco Road Left Multiple Casualties
SANTA YNEZ VALLEY, CA (September 16, 2022) – Monday night, a rollover crash on Ballard Canyon Road claimed the life of Roberto Garcia Jr. and left three other people injured.
Emergency personnel responded to the deadly accident around 10:20 p.m. near Roble Blanco Road.
According to the investigators, a BMW M3 lost control on a curve while going northbound on Ballard Canyon. Responding firefighters extricated the occupants trapped inside after the accident.
Tragically, the 19-year-old driver, Roberto Garcia Jr. of Solvang, succumbed to his injuries after being taken to Santa Ynez Cottage Hospital. Meanwhile, passengers Georgia Jensen (18), Emely Suarez (18), and Viviana Figueroa (19) sustained moderate to major injuries.
Paramedics transported the injured patients to Marian Regional Medical Center.
