Vehicle-Train Collision near Washington Boulevard Resulted in Injuries
LOS ANGELES, CA (September 15, 2022) – Monday evening, a train accident near Broadway left several passengers injured.
The train collision happened just before 5:10 a.m. near the intersection of Broadway and Washington Boulevard.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the Metro Blue Line train was running regularly as scheduled, when it struck a vehicle that was on the train tracks. The vehicle did not have any occupants at the time of the collision. However, the impact of the crash caused some passengers on the train to sustain minor injuries.
