Rider Dies in Solo-Vehicle Motorcycle Crash on Cartmill Avenue [Tulare, CA]
Motorcyclist Killed in Fatal Accident on Retherford Street
TULARE, CA (September 12, 2022) – Monday night, one victim was pronounced dead following a motorcycle crash on Cartmill Avenue.
The incident occurred at 9:17 p.m. at Cartmill Avenue and Retherford Street.
Per the California Highway Patrol, the main events that led to the crash remain unknown, but a motorcyclist was involved in the collision.
Police officials said paramedics on the scene took the rider with major injuries to Kaweah Health Medical Center for treatment. He later died in the hospital due to the extent of his injuries.
Authorities currently withheld his identity pending the notification of his next of kin.
At this time, it is unknown whether speed, drugs, or alcohol played a role in the crash. However, an active investigation is still currently underway.
