Chico Man Injured in Pedestrian Collision near West East Avenue

CHICO, CA (September 12, 2022) – Thursday afternoon, one man was hospitalized after a pedestrian accident on Highway 32.

The incident occurred just before 1:45 p.m., near West East Avenue and North Lindo Avenue.

For reasons under investigation, the driver of a vehicle struck a male pedestrian in the area. Medics arrived and transported the male victim to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.
