Victim Injured in 2-Car Accident near 215 Beltway
LAS VEGAS, NV (September 12, 2022) – Monday afternoon, one victim was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash on Jones Boulevard.
The incident occurred just before 1:00 p.m., near the 215 Beltway on August 8th.
According to reports, an ambulance was responding to a call on Jones while a semi-tractor trailer exited the 215 Beltway. The ambulance driver did not have time to slow down, and collided with the semi as it turned on a green light.
Responding officers located three occupants inside the ambulance. Paramedics then rushed one occupant to UMC with non-life threatening injuries. Authorities have also not released their names and conditions.
In addition, the impact of the collision caused the semi-truck to turn sideways at the intersection.
At this time, Las Vegas police continue to investigate the cause of the two-vehicle crash on Jones Boulevard. Crews will release additional information once available.
