Paul Blackledge Dies in Solo-Car Crash on Dusty Rocks Lane [Tucson, AZ]
67-Year-Old Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Collision on Sandario Road
TUCSON, AZ (September 8, 2022) – Friday night, Paul Blackledge was killed in a single-vehicle collision on Dusty Rocks Lane.
The crash happened around 9:15 p.m., at Sandario Road and Dusty Rocks Lane on September 2nd.
Following preliminary investigations, police believe that Blackledge became unconscious while behind the wheel. As a result, his vehicle slowly drifted off-course and struck a tree.
Emergency crews arrived and extracted 67-year-old Blackledge from the severely damaged vehicle. Paramedics transported him to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Furthermore, the investigation showed that speed and impairment were not factors in the collision. At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
