41-Year-Old Man Dead after Pedestrian Crash on Spencer Avenue Off-Ramp
SAUSALITO, CA (September 2, 2022) – Early Tuesday morning, a pedestrian accident on Highway 101 claimed the life of Carlos Rios.
The fatal collision occurred at around 4:35 a.m., at the Spencer Avenue off-ramp on Highway 101.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver of a Dodge hit Rios in the middle of the freeway. However, it remains unclear why the victim was standing on the lanes at the time.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene shortly after and rendered first aid. However, despite their life-saving efforts, authorities declared 41-year-old Rios dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the Dodge driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.
