23-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Deadly Crash on 5th Street
LAS VEGAS, NV (August 31, 2022) – Monday night, Marcus Perry was fatally struck in a motorcycle collision on Centennial Parkway.
Police responded to the scene around 7:00 p.m., near the intersection of 5th Street and Centennial Parkway.
According to reports, the driver of a Nissan Altima pulled out of an apartment complex and failed to yield to an oncoming motorcyclist. As a result, the eastbound motorcycle collided with the Nissan.
Paramedics arrived and transported 23-year-old Perry to UMC where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, the male driver in his 30s remained and the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Following preliminary duties, impairment was not suspected to be a factor.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, further details will be provided.
