Motorcyclist Injured in Head-On Crash on Ebers Street
SAN DIEGO, CA (August 29, 2022) – Thursday evening, one rider sustained injuries in a motorcycle accident on West Point Loma Boulevard.
The collision happened around 7:00 p.m., at the intersection of West Point Loma Boulevard and Ebers Street.
Investigators said a man driving a Jeep Wrangler attempted to make a left turn at the intersection. There, he traveled directly into the path of the 43-year-old motorcyclist.
Upon impact, the rider was ejected from the motorcycle onto the road. Medics arrived and transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital for further treatment. Crews say he suffered an open fracture to his ankle.
Meanwhile, the Jeep driver remained uninjured.
