9-Year-Old Boy Hurt in Webster Avenue Bicycle-Auto Collision
SAN DIEGO, CA (August 29, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, a bicycle accident in the Mountain View area left a 9-year-old boy with serious injuries.
The crash occurred around 3:10 p.m., in the 3500 block of Webster Avenue.
According to reports, the child was riding his bicycle in the area when a 27-year-old woman driving a 2021 Nissan Sentra struck him. The impact of the collision left the child severely hurt.
Medical personnel arrived at the scene shortly after and transported the boy to a hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Furthermore, the San Diego Police Department will notify Child Protection Services, because the boy was not wearing a helmet.
At this time, authorities are investigating the cause of the Mountain View bicycle accident.
