One Pronounced Dead after Multi-Car Collision on Interstate 15 [Hesperia, CA]
Accident near Main Street Left One Fatality
HESPERIA, CA (August 26, 2022) – Early Sunday, one person died after a multi-car collision on Interstate 15 in Hesperia.
According to the CHP, firefighters responded to the incident around 12:30 a.m., just north of Main Street.
Investigators said the collision involves a Mercedes-Benz C300, Chevrolet Camaro and a gray sedan.
Eventually, responders arrived and declared one person dead at the scene. However, their identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
Several other people involved sustained significant injuries.
Additionally, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
Furthermore, Hesperia Officials are asking anyone with information regarding the crash to contact their local offices. An active investigation into the fatal accident is currently ongoing.
