One Dead after Rollover Accident near Mile Marker 5WA
WADSWORTH, NV (August 25, 2022) – Early Thursday morning, one victim was pronounced dead after a rollover accident on State Route 447.
The incident occurred around 6:15 a.m., near Mile Marker 5 WA on August 4th.
According to reports, a driver lost control of a vehicle before it overturned in the area. However, the events leading up to the accident remain unknown.
Responding officials found one occupant dead at the scene. Although, authorities withheld the identity of the deceased victim.
Furthermore, crews temporarily closed both directions at SR-447 for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, it is unknown whether drugs, alcohol or impairment contributed to the fatal crash, however, an active investigation is underway.
