Two-Vehicle Crash near Palmdale Road, One Woman Injured

VICTORVILLE, CA (August 17, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, police responded to a crash on Cantina Street and Palmdale Road.

The incident happened on August 14th,  at about 1:10 p.m., at the Walmart shopping center entrance, near the intersection of Palmdale Road and Cantina Street.

According to reports, a silver four-door sedan was speeding, ran a red light, and then collided with a white Lincoln Navigator. The force of the impact injured at least one person.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene shortly after, firefighters extricated a woman trapped inside their vehicle. The victim was then transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center by a helicopter. No information about her condition was available at the time being.

Meanwhile, no other information was provided by the Victorville Police Department and further investigations are still underway. Witnesses to the crash on Palmdale Road and Cantina Street are asked to call local police as soon a possible.
