Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision on Railyard Boulevard
SACRAMENTO, CA (August 16, 2022) – Friday evening, one man was pronounced dead after a pedestrian accident on Jibboom Street.
The fatal crash happened just before 10:00 p.m., near the intersection of Jibboom Street and Railyard Boulevard.
According to reports, a vehicle struck a man who was walking in the area. Upon impact, the involved driver immediately called emergency services and stayed at the scene until crews arrived.
Officers found the pedestrian with life-threatening injuries and transported him to a local hospital, where he later died. However, his identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
